In his post, Celentano stated that while he did not intend to disturb them, there are matters that must be fixed immediately. He warned that without such adjustments, politicians risk losing sight of who they are, a situation he described as serious because it leaves the public unsure of whom to support at the ballot box.
The musician explicitly connected this confusion among voters to the increasingly weak turnout at elections.
