A café run by Jimin’s father in Busan has become a gathering place for BTS fans, with thousands of gifts left by visitors from Brazil and other countries. Photos, letters, flowers, flags and plush toys fill parts of the ZM-illennial, which opened in 2019 in the BTS singer’s hometown in South Korea.
Brazilian fans have contributed banners, artwork, photographs, framed pictures, letters and even Brazilian banknotes. Some flags combine Brazilian and South Korean imagery, while messages include “With Jimin until the end.” Fans have also arranged flower deliveries through a Busan florist, including bouquets ordered to mark Jimin’s birthday on October 13.
The café is managed by Jimin’s father, Park Hyun-soo, who often serves customers and receives the gifts. The venue also displays BTS items, including music award trophies and signed albums. Its interior combines industrial features with varied decorations, such as portraits of Jimin, plants, crafts and furniture in different styles.
ZM-illennial serves coffee, other drinks, desserts and light meals. Its most popular drink is an iced latte with orange and ube cream, while the café’s leading dessert is tiramisu, also available in a red velvet version. Merchandise including clothing, caps and drinkware is sold on site.
The café has announced that it will close in November 2027, after seven years in operation. No reason for the closure was given.
