Halloween 2026 has delivered a wide array of celebrity costumes ranging from spooky tributes to pop culture references. Paris Hilton continued her tradition of honoring Britney Spears for the fourth consecutive year, dressing as the pop icon performing "I'm a Slave 4 U" at the 2001 VMAs. Hilton also shared a second look inspired by Beauty and the Beast, involving her entire family in a tribute to Princess Belle.

A unique dynamic emerged between Kim Kardashian, her daughter North West, and reality star Natalie Nunn. Kardashian dressed as her daughter North, sporting a turquoise wig, long nails, and goth clothing. In response, North West dressed as Natalie Nunn, prompting Nunn to reciprocate by dressing as North West with turquoise pigtails and a studded collar.

Several celebrities focused on specific pop culture moments from 2026. Owen Thiele and Benito Skinner recreated the look of PinkPantheress and Zara Larsson, referencing their buzzy "Stateside" remix that reached No. 6 on the Hot 100 in March. They replicated the plaid skirts and airbrushed baby tees from the music video. Other stars honored classic icons; Cyndi Lauper appeared as Ursula at the Hulaween gala, while Erika Jayne channeled Cruella de Vil with a spotted coat and retro cigarette holder.

Anime and film tributes were also prominent. Lizzo dressed as Seiko Ayase from the anime Dandadan, featuring a tall white wig and a massive faux bust. Karol G transformed into The Corpse Bride from Tim Burton's 2005 animated classic in a blue-hued bridal ensemble. Victoria Justice and her sister Madison Grace recreated the creepy twins from The Shining, while Summer Walker honored the late Tim Curry by dressing as Dr. Frank-N-Furter from The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Music history was celebrated through various recreations. Keke Palmer and her three-year-old son Leo dressed as Janet and Michael Jackson, mimicking their "Scream" music video, a look that earned praise from Janet Jackson herself. Umi recreated Janet Jackson's 1993 Rolling Stone cover pose, while Chloe Bailey dressed as the "Hot Meg" version of Meg Griffin from Family Guy. Lizzo also paid tribute to Dolly Parton by recreating her look from the 1973 "Jolene" artwork.

Other notable looks included Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian appearing as vampires at a birthday party, complete with fake blood. Justin and Hailey Bieber coordinated as devil and angel, while the group KATSEYE dressed as DC characters including Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Wonder Woman, and Catwoman. Tate McRae channeled Julie Newmar's 1960s portrayal of Catwoman, and Slayyyter dressed as the Playmate of the Year from Apocalypse Now. Finally, Lily Allen satirized the live music industry by dressing as an online ticketing seat map.
