Charlotte Adigéry and Bolis Pupul have announced Mainland Madinina, their follow-up to Topical Dancer, alongside a run of 2027 shows in Europe and North America. Soulwax again produced the album, which will be released by Deewee and Because.
The announcement comes with “From Healer to Dealer,” a song that satirizes wellness culture through characters named Grace and Ruben. Its video, directed by Lennert Madou, takes the form of a high-energy aerobics montage. The duo had previously returned in September with “Googoo Gaga,” a song about parenthood.
Adigéry said Soulwax help the pair explore a song’s intentions when they feel stuck. Pupul described the producers as “musical chiropractors” who know where to push.
The tour begins in Cologne on February 21, with European dates continuing through March 13 in Warsaw. The North American leg starts March 23 in Los Angeles and concludes April 3 in Brooklyn. Mainland Madinina is set to feature 12 tracks, including “Restless,” “GooGoo Gaga,” “From Healer to Dealer,” “Délirez-Vous?” and “I’m Lost.”
