Christine and the Queens has released “Rendez-Vous Avec Toi,” a funky, disco-tinged new single about desire, tenderness and lovers meeting again. An English-language version, “Rendez-vous In Your Arms,” is also available.
The song is accompanied by a video filmed in Paris, co-directed by Christine and the Queens and Raphaël De Albuquerque, with choreography by Alexander Ekman. The artist described the track as a celebration shaped by music, devotion and the mysterious connection between people.
The release comes ahead of four special, sold-out shows in Brussels, London, Amsterdam and Paris next month. Chris said the concerts would bring the band and audience together in intimate venues, revisit familiar material and offer “a first listen to unreleased songs from the next album.”
Details of the forthcoming album have not been announced. Christine and the Queens’ most recent studio album was 2023’s “Paranoïa, Angels, True Love.” In 2024, the artist also released “Hopecore” under the name Rahim Redcar.
