Director Michael Mann suffered an accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound to the leg during a visit to The Range LA in Los Angeles this past Saturday. According to reports from TMZ, the incident took place around 4:00 p.m. local time when Mann was attempting to holster his firearm, causing it to discharge unexpectedly.
Following the accident, emergency services transported the director by ambulance to a nearby hospital for immediate medical attention. A representative for Mann later confirmed that the injury sustained was superficial. After receiving necessary treatment at the facility, the director was released from the hospital.
