Argentine pop star Emilia has released her new single titled "BODYPAINTING," which is accompanied by a music video showcasing elaborate choreography set within a luxurious penthouse. The visual features the singer covered head to toe in black paint, exploring themes of flirtation, desire, and self-expression.

The track was co-produced by Swedish producer LIOHN and Argentine hitmaker Zecca. Emilia describes the release as the beginning of a new chapter in her career, noting that she wanted to explore a side of herself that fans already know but present it in a different way today. In a statement regarding the song, she explained that "BODYPAINTING" is an invitation for listeners to dance and embrace their sensuality.

The accompanying video follows Emilia through a lavish penthouse setting where multiple versions of the singer appear amidst sensual choreography. A key sequence depicts her completely covered in black paint before sparks and flashes of light illuminate the scene.

This release follows a busy year for the artist, which included a collaboration with Zara Larsson on the track "Girl's Girl," featured on the deluxe edition of Midnight Sun. Additionally, Emilia made her Coachella debut alongside Brazilian singer Luísa Sonza. Reflecting on the creative process, Emilia stated that she had so much fun creating the song and feels it signifies the start of this new era for her.
