Eminem’s 2010 song “Not Afraid” appears in Abdul El-Sayed’s final get-out-the-vote video for his campaign for the U.S. Senate in Michigan. The video was shared on Election Day, November 3, 2026, and urges voters to turn out at the polls.
El-Sayed’s campaign pairs the track with the line “doing this for MI,” a play on the state’s abbreviation. The song’s use comes weeks after Eminem collaborated with fellow Michigan native Kid Rock on “Heal My Faith.” Kid Rock has been among El-Sayed’s vocal critics and recently compared the candidate to the 9/11 hijackers.
El-Sayed is running against former congressman Mike Rogers to succeed Gary Peters, who has held the Senate seat since 2015. The campaign video said Michigan polling places would be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
