The fourteenth edition of the Flashback Art Fair has concluded in Turin, marking a successful event characterized by increased sales and high satisfaction among participating gallery owners. Held from October 29 to November 1 at the Flashback Habitat venue on Corso Giovanni Lanza 75, the fair attracted a total of 23,244 attendees. During the four days, 35 galleries engaged with both Italian and international collectors, as well as a public eager to explore the works and discuss the research presented by the exhibitors.
Directed by Ginevra Pucci and Stefania Poddighe, with artistic direction by Alessandro Bulgini, the fair centered its market activities around the theme "In Time," questioning the value assigned to time and what individuals choose to dedicate it to. The event facilitated a dialogue between ancient, modern, and contemporary art, offering opportunities for discovery. Additionally, the "collezioni.amo" section provided an entry point for new collectors by featuring works available for under 5,000 euros alongside books available for consultation.
The organizing body noted that Friday saw a decline in attendance due to a general strike called by grassroots unions. However, they expressed happiness regarding this development, viewing the public's presence on the streets as a valid assertion of rights. The organizers emphasized that working on the relationship between art and life means recognizing when it is time to take a stand and participate, aligning with the fair's "In Time" philosophy.
