George and Amal Clooney are set to take part in the 34th edition of the Vatican Christmas Concert, scheduled for December 12, 2026, at the Paul VI Hall. This year's event focuses on universal peace and education, operating under the premise that peace cannot exist without instruction.

During the evening, George Clooney will deliver a special appeal for peace. He is expected to urge attendees to recognize education, the protection of rights, and attention to the most vulnerable as essential conditions for building a more just and solidary future. The actor, director, and producer has long been involved in humanitarian initiatives and human rights advocacy.

Together with his wife Amal Clooney, an international lawyer specializing in human rights, he founded the Clooney Foundation for Justice. The organization promotes access to justice and education while supporting the defense of rights for those most exposed to discrimination and persecution.

The concert, recorded on December 12, will air as a prime-time television broadcast during the Christmas season and be distributed globally via Vatican Media. The event will support a fundraising campaign by Missioni Don Bosco aimed at constructing a school in Madagascar.

In alignment with the edition's theme, an international "Peace and Education" award has been established within the concert framework. This recognition will be presented to the Clooney Foundation for Justice on December 12 at 11:00 AM at the Campidoglio. The award will be handed over by Don Fabio Attard, Major Superior of the Salesian Congregation, and Rome's mayor, Roberto Gualtieri.
