Jordan Firstman’s first feature film, “Club Kid,” follows a New York partygoer confronted with the unexpected arrival of a child whose existence he did not know about. The film approaches the prospect of queer parenthood with humor.

The film was presented in the Un Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival. It is scheduled to open in French cinemas on November 4, with a U.S. release set for November 6.

Born in 1991 in Long Island, New York, Firstman is an actor and screenwriter who became known more widely in 2020 for comic videos and impersonations on social media. He also released the album “Secrets” in 2025 through Capitol Records, drawing on personal confidences he said followers had sent him on Instagram.
