Maren Morris has watched Home Alone at last—and now she wants to catch up on other celebrated films she has missed. The singer said in a TikTok posted Monday, Nov. 2, that it took her until she was about 28 to see the 1990 holiday classic. “And now I love it,” she said.
Morris, 36, was born the year the film was released. In her video, she suggested starting a movie club focused on iconic films people have never seen, and named Full Metal Jacket and Uncle Buck among the titles still on her list. She said her friends have given her a hard time for missing the John Candy comedy.
She also asked fans to share films they had never got around to watching—or were not allowed to see growing up. Suggestions in the comments included Goonies, A Christmas Story, Pretty Woman, The Godfather, Jurassic Park, It’s a Wonderful Life, Practical Magic and Casablanca.
Morris released her fourth studio album, Dreamsicle, in May 2025.
