Smart-home essentials and home audio gear feature in a holiday gift selection available from Best Buy, including products from Google and Marshall. The options range from a speaker designed to help control connected devices to portable and home-use audio systems.
Google’s Home Speaker can manage tasks such as setting timers and checking the weather, as well as controlling compatible smart-home devices. It works with other Google devices and with Matter- and Thread-enabled products, and is available in several colors. The product listing says it is currently $20 off.
For portable audio, Marshall’s Emberton III combines a compact design with 360-degree drivers and up to 32 hours of playback, according to the product details. The speaker is also described as durable enough to take on the go.
The Google Nest Learning Thermostat can adjust the temperature when residents are away and provide reminders to change HVAC filters based on use. It also comes with a separate temperature sensor that can be placed around the home to monitor areas that are warmer or cooler.
Marshall’s Acton III is designed for home listening, with an amp-inspired appearance, physical controls for volume and playback, and EQ adjustment. It connects over Bluetooth or AUX and is offered in several faux-leather finishes.
