Nicki Minaj visited a polling site at Pinkerton Academy in Derry, New Hampshire, on Tuesday, Nov. 3. Accompanied by a police escort, she did not make a public statement but briefly spoke with voters, posed for photos and shook hands before leaving in an unmarked van at around 5:30 p.m. ET, according to NBC News.
During the visit, Minaj thanked an onlooker who welcomed her to New Hampshire and a voter who praised her support for President Donald Trump. The rapper has been an outspoken supporter of Trump and the Republican Party throughout 2026. On Oct. 25, she joined him at a rally in Port Huron, Michigan, after flying with him on Air Force One, and said she would continue to support him.
Minaj’s appearance came on an election day when New Hampshire voters chose Democrat Chris Pappas over Republican John Sununu for the Senate seat. Democrats Stefany Shaheen and incumbent Maggie Goodlander won the state’s House seats, while Republican Kelly Ayotte won reelection as governor.
The rapper has also drawn attention for her comments about other political figures. On Oct. 28, she criticized New York Gov. Kathy Hochul ahead of her reelection bid. Hochul went on to defeat Republican challenger Bruce Blakeman by about 20 points, ABC News reported.
Trump has also been asked about the possibility of Minaj joining his team as White House press secretary. In a late-October appearance on The Benny Show, he said the idea was worth considering.
