Olivia Rodrigo is preparing to release her first Christmas song. The pop star announced that “Take Me Home (4 Christmas)” will arrive at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday, Nov. 5, or 5 p.m. PT.

Rodrigo revealed the release on Instagram, where she also shared the single’s artwork. The image shows her sitting on the floor wearing a red Santa hat and matching lipstick. She said fans could preorder the song and described herself as excited about the release.

The holiday track follows a busy year for Rodrigo. In June, she released her third studio album, “you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love.” The album produced the Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 single “Drop Dead” and spent three weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

In August, Rodrigo launched the Daisy Chain Fields festival, which raised $20 million for women’s charities. She began her Unraveled arena tour the following month, and in October she joined longtime friend Chappell Roan for a surprise remix of “Expectations.” The collaboration helped the song reach No. 3 on the Hot 100.

With “Take Me Home (4 Christmas),” Rodrigo is entering a holiday music market led each year by Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You.” Other artists releasing seasonal music this year include Hilary Duff, who recently issued a holiday EP, and Alanis Morissette, who is preparing the holiday album “Good Weather for Immaculate Conception.”
