Pamela Petrarolo has officially returned to the music scene with the release of her new single, "Senza tutto questo," available since October 30 under the Janamela Group label. The track serves as an intense ballad designed to express nostalgia for a bond that never truly fades, marking a step out of her comfort zone and signaling the arrival of a full album consisting of nine entirely new songs dedicated to the theme of love.
In an interview with ANSA, Petrarolo explained that the project stems from a long-held desire to create an album of original material after many years. She described the record as a journey through "love at 360 degrees," covering its various facets including suffering, dreams, loss, and even the acceptance of unhealthy relationships that are sometimes ignored. However, she noted that the collection also leaves room for serene and happy stories.
The lead single specifically captures the end of a relationship without descending into resentment. Petrarolo characterized the song as portraying a painful yet beautiful love where the memory remains so strong that one cannot recall the other person's flaws even after time has passed. She emphasized that the track aims to debunk the myth that finished stories must inevitably turn into bitterness, advocating instead for accepting an ending while preserving the beautiful memories that make us feel alive.
Regarding her professional ambitions, Petrarolo addressed her recent attempt to participate in the Sanremo Festival. She confirmed that she submitted a song for the competition but was informed it had been rejected; however, the track will still be included on her upcoming album. Known for her patience, she expressed hope that an opportunity might arise next year.
On a personal level, Petrarolo shared updates following the romantic marriage proposal she received from her partner, Giovanni Benevento, during the show Verissimo last November. She revealed that if schedules align with their three daughters and a planned move, the wedding is expected to take place next autumn. Additionally, she sent warm thoughts to Ambra Angiolini, with whom she shared early experiences on the show Non è la Rai. Petrarolo praised Angiolini's diverse career in television, cinema, and music, noting that her extensive experience starting from a young age makes her uniquely qualified to guide young people as a dance teacher on Amici.
