The Pitchfork Music Festival Paris is marking its 15th edition from November 2 to 8, with more than 100 artists drawn from the international independent scene. The line-up spans rock, pop, folk, electro and synth pop, and the programme places particular emphasis on new talent, showcased across roughly ten venues in the French capital, including the Pitchfork Avant-Garde trail.
Among the headliners are the New York acts DIIV, Ear and Nirosta Steel, alongside the Danish group Iceage. The opening night of the rock programme on Monday, November 2, features DIIV at the Badaboum, a concert reported to be sold out; the Brooklyn shoegazers' latest album, ZIRP!, was produced by A.G. Cook and brings in some invigorating electronic touches.
Iceage also play on the same day, with the band led by singer Elias Ronnenfelt scheduled for two exceptional sets at the Main Room, at 7pm and again at 9.30pm. Their sixth album, released in May under the title For Love of Grace & the Hereafter, is described as their most substantial collection of guitar-driven material to date, with tracks including Ember, Match Head Girl, No Fear and Mother-of-Pearl.
The music critics of Le Monde published a selection of their favourites from this 2026 edition, highlighting both established names and lesser-known artists on the bill.
