RuPaul will travel to São Paulo next year to perform a DJ set at Vibra São Paulo on January 22. It will be the American artist’s first visit to Brazil in 20 years. The venue is in the city’s southern zone and is known for hosting events for the LGBTQIA+ community.

Tickets go on sale at noon on Tuesday through Sympla. The set is expected to include some of RuPaul’s own music alongside disco and pop classics.

RuPaul is the creator of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” the reality competition that helped bring drag into wider public view around the world during the 2010s. The show also made her the person with the most nominations for the Emmy for outstanding host of a reality or competition program.

RuPaul has released music and albums as well as working in television. In some recent appearances, she has performed without the wigs and extravagant outfits associated with her familiar stage look.
