Sam Fender has announced three new dates for his 2027 'Proper Massive' stadium tour across the UK and Ireland, responding to phenomenal demand after tickets went on sale. The singer-songwriter originally revealed the itinerary last week following an online teaser, which included homecoming shows at Newcastle's St James' Park in June, alongside stops in Cardiff, London, Dublin, Edinburgh, and Manchester.
The newly added performances include a second night at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on June 12, a second date at the Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh on July 10, and a third show at London's Wembley Stadium on September 2. Tickets for all dates are currently available for purchase.
Wunderhorse is confirmed as the supporting act for all UK stadium dates, with the exception of the September 2 performance at Wembley. When the tour was first announced, Fender expressed frustration regarding inflated ticket prices and stated his commitment to making admission more affordable by eliminating premium front-standing tickets.
The initial pre-sale faced disruptions due to a sophisticated bot attack on a ticketing site, which Gigantic Tickets described as an unusually high volume of suspicious activity. This forced the postponement of the Newcastle pre-sale by 24 hours to ensure access for genuine fans. The tour schedule notably leaves a gap around the dates of Glastonbury (June 23-27). While no lineup has been officially confirmed for the 2027 festival, Fender is considered a favorite by bookmakers to perform, which would mark his first appearance at Worthy Farm since 2022.
Fender's previous tour raised £50,000 for the charity Youth Music through ticket sales and was documented in the 'Live At London Stadium' concert film.
