Silvana Estrada is continuing the journey of her acclaimed 2025 album, Vendrán Suaves Lluvias, by releasing additional tracks that were part of the original creative process. The Mexican singer previously shared the lush, orchestral record in October 2025 as a source of warmth and healing for listeners navigating heartbreak and loss. Now, she has decided to expand the project with two new songs premiered earlier this month: "Pensarte" and "Todo Baila," the latter featuring American musician M. Ward.
Estrada explained to Rolling Stone that while these songs were integral to the album's creation, they did not fit the final tracklist at the time of release. She described this extended version not as creating a new world, but rather as offering a behind-the-scenes look at the process and the broader scope of the original work. "Todo Baila" serves as a hopeful celebration of movement, written during the pandemic with singer-songwriter Alex Ferreira before being revisited with Ward. The American artist noted his long-standing admiration for Estrada's songwriting and mentioned adding translations, vocals, and guitars to the track while in London over the summer following their meeting in Portugal in 2023.
In contrast, "Pensarte" explores a more tender and emotional side of the album's themes. The song features heartbreaking guitar arrangements as Estrada sings about attempting to hold onto a relationship she knows is ending. She showcased both new tracks during live Gallery sessions held in mid-October. These releases follow a wave of critical acclaim for Vendrán Suaves Lluvias, which earned multiple Latin Grammy nominations, including Album of the Year and Record of the Year.
Estrada expressed deep gratitude for the recognition, noting the significance of such honors for an independent artist working with a small team of two or three people. She hopes her success will inspire young girls to pursue their own artistic paths without needing to conform to industry games. As she continues to tour globally, sharing the music across many continents, Estrada emphasized that these songs were always intended to cross boundaries. Her upcoming tour dates include stops in Boston, Denver, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, and San Jose in late October and early November, followed by performances in Bogotá and Medellín in Colombia, a festival appearance in San Miguel, Peru, and concluding with shows at the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City in December 2026.
