Stand Atlantic has reached the summit of the ARIA Albums Chart with their new record, GODBREATH, marking a historic milestone as their first number one on Australia's national albums tally. Released via Virgin Music Group and Inertia, the album was the week's best-seller in vinyl format. This achievement represents the Sydney-based rock act's fourth appearance within the top 30 of the ARIA Albums Chart, following previous entries with Pink Elephant at number 23 in 2020, F.E.A.R. at number 10 in 2022, and Was Here at number 3 in 2024.

In a statement celebrating the success, the band expressed their gratitude to fans for supporting Australian music, noting that the accomplishment was only possible through their support. Led by vocalist and guitarist Bonnie Fraser, Stand Atlantic recently concluded a series of dates in the United Kingdom alongside Simple Plan. The group is now returning home for Australian shows before heading back to the United States to perform at the Vans Warped Tour in Orlando and embark on a tour with Story of the Year and Silverstein.

GODBREATH stands as the fourth locally produced album to lead the chart in 2026, following sets by Karnivool, DMA's, and Angus & Julia Stone. It is also one of three ARIA top 10 debutants on the chart published on Friday, October 30. Other notable entries include Dan Sultan, whose album Little Miracles debuted at number 5. The five-time ARIA Award winner now holds five top 50 results, including three top 10s, with previous peaks achieved by Blackbird in 2014 and Killer in 2017.

Sydney artist Ben "Boo" Gumbleton's electropop project, Boo Seeka, also secured a top 10 spot with his independently released Cigarettes On Sundown at number 10. His debut album, Never Too Soon, previously reached number 8 in 2017. The latest chart tally features new releases from Tony Iommi at number 16, Melbourne's Surprise Chef at number 17, country artist Melanie Dyer at number 23, indie rock group The Buoys at number 31, and metalcore band Windwaker at number 38.

On the international front, BLACKPINK member Lisa entered the chart at number 34 with her first solo EP, Press Play. This makes her the third member of the K-pop group to crack the top 50 with a solo project, following Rosé's 2024 self-titled set and Jennie's 2025 release Ruby. Both BLACKPINK studio albums also previously peaked at number 2. Meanwhile, on the ARIA Singles Chart, Tate McRae maintained her position at number 1 for a second consecutive week with "Housewife." Welsh singer Jamie Miller achieved his first top 10 hit in Australia with "Babydoll," which rose from 27 to 9, following its recent ascent to the summit of the Official U.K. Singles Chart.
