Style Capital has taken Control of N21, the fashion brand founded by Alessandro Dell’Acqua. Dell’Acqua will remain creative director, maintaining his role in shaping the label’s style and creative direction.
The investment firm said the deal is intended to build on N21’s identity and support its international expansion. The corporate transaction also includes the departure of Gilmar, N21’s longtime industrial partner, from the company’s capital.
Style Capital said it plans to combine the brand’s creative heritage with strategic, management and industrial expertise to support its next stage of development. Its portfolio includes Zimmermann, Soeur, Autry, forte_forte, Msgm, Essential Parfums and Re-Donе.
Dell’Acqua described the change as an opportunity for N21 to grow while staying true to its character. Style Capital founder and managing partner Roberta Benaglia said the firm intends to support the designer while preserving his creative autonomy and helping the brand expand internationally.
