This Is Lorelei Performs Five Songs From ‘The Singer in My Band’ on KCRW

This Is Lorelei performed five songs from Nate Amos’ latest album, The Singer in My Band, during a visit to Santa Monica public radio station KCRW. Amos was joined by bassist Al Nardo, keyboardist Bailey Wollowitz and drummer Cameron Wisch.

The set included “I Will Eat My Heart In The Morning Light,” “Billy Came Back,” “Watching Heaven Fall” and the title track. The band closed with “The Kid With The Crown.”

Released in September, The Singer in My Band was Amos’ first record for Matador. He is currently touring in support of the album, which he has described as a “road record,” with a lineup of opening acts that includes Bleachers and @. Earlier this summer, he toured with his other band, Water From Your Eyes, whose latest album, It’s a Beautiful Place, came out in 2025.
