Tony Gordon will perform at the Folha Gourmet Festival in São Paulo on Saturday, November 7, at 7:30 p.m. His set will combine soul, jazz and blues with English-language classics, original songs and tributes to Brazilian music.

The festival takes place at Villa-Lobos Park on November 7, 8, 14 and 15. Tickets are available through Sympla for R$50 full price and R$25 at the half-price rate. The event is curated musically by Blue Note, the local branch of the New York jazz venue. André Frateschi, Paula Lima and Wilson Simoninha are also among the confirmed headliners.

One of Gordon’s covers will be “What a Wonderful World,” made famous by Louis Armstrong. The singer said the song’s message about the world feels especially meaningful to him. His set will also include songs by his aunt, singer-songwriter Dolores Duran, known for classics such as “A Noite do Meu Bem” and “Castigo,” as well as his own material.

Gordon won the 2019 season of “The Voice Brasil.” He is also preparing an album in Portuguese for release around mid-2027, featuring original songs and compositions by Pedro Lopes and his son, bassist Will Gordon. The project is in pre-production and is expected to bring together jazz and soul influences with samba.

The Folha Gourmet Festival will also feature restaurants from São Paulo, food discussions, wine and beer areas, a children’s section and a picnic space.
