Warner Records Nashville laid off five employees on Tuesday, Nov. 3, Billboard reported. Those affected include executive vice president of marketing Victoria “Torie” Mason and senior vice president of publicity Fount Lynch.

Mason joined the company in 2011 as director of research and analytics before advancing through its ranks. Lynch joined Warner Nashville in 2022 after previously holding roles at Red Light, Sony Music and Universal Music Group.

The other employees affected are vice president of radio Anna Cage, West Coast manager of Warner Artist Relations Jenna Johnson and regional radio manager Kayla Burnett.

It is unclear whether the cuts are connected to Warner Music Group’s previously announced cost-reduction plan. CEO Robert Kyncl said in a July 2025 company-wide memo that the company planned to cut $300 million in annual costs, with layoffs accounting for $170 million. He said at the time that the savings would be reinvested in A&R and mergers and acquisitions.

Warner Music Group has carried out several rounds of layoffs since Kyncl became CEO in early 2023. Warner Records Nashville also let go of four employees in July 2025 amid a realignment of Warner Records’ marketing and commerce teams. A representative for Warner Records Nashville did not respond to Billboard’s request for comment by press time.
