The 2026 New York Marathon is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 1, taking runners through all five New York City boroughs: Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and Staten Island. The race is set to begin at 8 a.m. ET and 5 a.m. PT.
Viewers in the New York area can watch the event on ABC7NY, while ESPN will provide national coverage. The marathon can also be streamed through DirecTV, Fubo, Hulu + Live TV, Sling TV and ESPN Unlimited.
The race has traditionally attracted celebrity participants, including actors, musicians and other public figures. Past participants mentioned include Action Bronson, Kevin Hart, Prince Royce, Jennifer Connelly, Death Cab for Cutie guitarist and vocalist Ben Gibbard, and AEW wrestler Darby Allin.
Harry Styles could also be among the runners in 2026. His Madison Square Garden residency is scheduled to end on Oct. 31, and he has reportedly been seen running around New York City in recent months. His participation, however, has not been confirmed.
