A free performance celebrating the poetry of Brazilian popular song will take place at Sesc Pinheiros in São Paulo on Wednesday, November 4. Conceived and led by José Miguel Wisnik, “Com Todas as Letras” features works by artists including Caetano Veloso, Chico Buarque, Gilberto Gil, Arnaldo Antunes and Vinicius de Moraes, alongside poets Angélica Freitas, Paulo Leminski and Ana Martins Marques.

Wisnik will perform with Marina Wisnik, Arthur Nestrovski, Sergio Reze and Swami Junior. Singer Alaíde Costa is scheduled to make a special appearance. The songs will be linked by a narrative, with their lyrics projected so the audience can read along as they listen.

The program also marks the premiere of “Tocante,” a poem by Armando Freitas Filho, who lived from 1940 to 2024, set to music by Wisnik. The event is part of celebrations marking the 40th anniversary of publishing group Companhia das Letras.

The show starts at 8 p.m. at Sesc Pinheiros, at Rua Pais Leme, 195. Free tickets can be reserved online from 5 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3, at sescsp.org.br, or collected at the venue’s box office from 10 a.m. on November 4. The performance is for ages 18 and over.
