Justin Timberlake is developing a four-part tell-all docuseries for Apple TV, with Janet Jackson set to appear as a guest, Variety reported Monday. The series is expected to arrive on the streaming service in December, though further details were not available at the time of the report.
The report did not specify what the series will cover. Jackson’s participation may bring attention to the pair’s 2004 Super Bowl controversy, when Timberlake exposed her breast during the live broadcast. The incident later became associated with the phrase “wardrobe malfunction.”
In 2021, Timberlake publicly apologized to Jackson, saying he was sorry for times when his actions contributed to a problem or he failed to speak up. He also acknowledged benefiting from a system that condones misogyny and racism. In the same apology, he expressed remorse for how he had spoken about Britney Spears after their 2002 breakup.
Timberlake has not released an album since 2024’s *Everything I Thought It Was*, which reached No. 4 on the Billboard 200. In early October, he released the song “House Music” with Quavo.
